i wonder how long it took you to be totally comfortable wid surfing?? by comfort i mean being able to stand up and actually catch waves!

haha It took me a solid month of frustration! i go surfing for 15 hours/week then. long hours, but i am very happy! practice makes perfect, i guess.. after that, i have seen good progress with my surfing skills.

i used to surf for few hours each day. and i think things are harder for me. it took me a month to consistently stand up on my board and another month to comfortably tand on it.. it was only in my 3rd month when i started to control the board pretty well. how about u?

i agree with jadedson. like everything else, you will get better with surfing much faster if you practice. it took me days to beat up the waves. but if i havent gone surfing for days or months, it's like re-learning everything again.. its not always how fast u get comfortable with surfing, because if you have loads of fun everytime u surf, who else could care?!! right?

it took me so long! about a month or so. i was really not comfortable with the beach so i had to relax myself always! good thing my trainor was a great friend of mine! or else, he might have given up on me! :)
