For some reasons & you don't get to be in the water anymore, how do you practice to become better in surfing? So it's like doing better in surfing w/o actually surfing Do you practice pop-ups? Work out? Or what?

huh?! Would that be possible?! I mean, to practice surfing but not in water? I guess you can still have some physical exercises so that even though you’re not really surfing, your body is still ready if you’ll ever surf again.

Just go to the pool, that would help. Or maybe you can also do yoga

Actually, any kind of fitness activity can help, so you can also go to the gym as an alternative to surfing!

Plus of course, you'll learn more from reading a good surfing magazine or watching surfing movies!

swimming is the best way to practice surfing. but if you can't do it as well, you can try to perform some other physical exercises, like active stretching and cardio conditioning. So that your body can maintain its and you'd still be fit for your next surfing adventure.

Beach is where I find my self most of the time.

Practice is "out there". Haha always try your best to go out & surf as much as you can, do it even everyday if you can..

And yes, maybe u'd want to try yoga. It really creates wonders..

And regular swimming, definitely!

i saw on t.v. there are machines where you can practice surfing, a board is placed on top of a machine that mimics waves.. but i think going to the beache is the best way to improve your surfing skills and you could also try walking or running or any workout that mainly targets the legs and improves your balance...

About the best thing to practice without spending beaucoup bucks on some machine would be to practice your take off on the floor of your room until you become proficient in the water.

A bad day surfing is better than a good day working
