to start off, don't hit your face haha and if you fall, try to keep your hands above ur head so it wont get smashed by anything. i had my neck hurt by a wave. i pooped up and got out of the water and had headache for the whole day. but nothing serious other than that

my nose nearly got broken when i ignored a small high wave. it suddenly took me by surprise and jumped into me. the tragic part is, the board hit me and i started to bleed alot. i know it always happens. the best thing to do? try jumping off from the board.

Two broken noses in 41 years of surfing. Not bad I guess...

aaaaahh, the horror of surfing & the terror of surfing wipeouts

I've already gotten my ribs and my nose broken. 8 or so number of times! :D The most common injuries though are the ones happening in my knees, ankles! Seems like my body has gotten used to those things already..

But i'll keep surfing still!!
