Hi everyone,
I'm new to surfing and I'm trying to figure out what wetsuit to buy. I live in San Francisco so the water is really cold. I'm interested in Patagonia. What do you think of their wetsuits and the company in general?

Patagonia is ok, get a 4/3 mill for up north, or if you can afford one, get one of the new wetties that have a battery powered heater in them, i know it gets pretty chilly up there! O'neil is a great wetsuit i would recommend them over patagonia, total personal choice though.

I have just moved to Cornwall and i want to take up
surfing. I will just hire a surfboard for now but i dont want to wear a
pissy hire wetsuit. I have a budget of around £300 to spend but i'm not
too sure what is good and what isnt and do i really need to spend £300
on a wetsuit?
I have been looking at these wetsuits i guess 5mm is good enough for all year use?

Would anybody recommend these wetsuits, or anything else?
