I need help choosing a board. Right now i am looking at the Al Merrick whip, and the Rookie. Currently i have a 5'10 Flyer. I surf on lake Michigan. The waves are mushy and not very powerful. But they can get big (9+ft). I am 5'8 and 130lbs. Any ideas would be great. I would consider myself a mostly advanced surfer.
