did any of you here ever gave your boards a total makeover? like cleaning them to perfection so they'd look as good as new? haha i scraped my board's wax off last week then applied wax again to shine it up, whew! fine finish! haha now it looks like i recently bought it from the shop. ever did something like that?

i clean mine at least once a month, even if i didnt use it. i first rinse the dirt off using tap water to wash away the damaging salt water off my my board, since that could possibly harm its surface! i also use this comb i got from a surf store to remove the wax on it. then finally, i apply a good quality polish to my board to make it appear more attractive when hit by the sun rays! that's my board's beauty regimen! almost the same as yours, or at least close...

Are you referring to the pickle wax remover? I've tried that! I don't know what's in it, but it works Haha! quick & easy..

Yeah, little green bag with, I'm told, dried up bits of glassing material inside. Talk about bringing back the original finish, and it removes all the really stuck on wax residue, which if you don't use a pickle, your board will retain.

i have to agree with this one. quick & easy indeed. works very
effectively. quite the best among other cleaners for surfboards i have
tried ever.

I sometimes want surfboard to look a little untidy... It just shows how frequent you use it.
