We were in Peru last month. All i can say is...you should go to Mancora for a lovely view you shouldnt miss! There are beach bars, palm trees, 365-day sunshine, sand dunes, and glorious golden beaches!! it is but a perfect place with lots of board rentals. But they say that if you're looking for more challenge, u should head to Cabo Blanco, according to others, it's a world class break to be there!

Peru is a cheap surfing spot, with friendly community and serious waves indeed. But as for Mancora, you'll love the place for only 2 hours/day. The rest of the day, it's just too crowded there. Imagine 35 surfers are actually fighting against a single wave!

whoaw!! Really 35 surfers for just a single wave that could be challenging, did you surf still?!? How was it surfing with the rest of the 34? I just can't imagine if everyone was able to move freely.

Beach is where I find my self most of the time.
