	Counting Down To The Surf Dog Surf-a-thon
	Helen Woodward Animal Center will host their 5th Annual Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon Contest on Sunday, September 12th from 8 am to 3:00 pm at North Beach, 3200 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, CA. Doggie yoga will kick off the event at 8:00 am, followed by surfing at 8:30 am. A canine costume contest will begin at 10:00 am and a human surfing costume contest will take place at 11:45 am. 	World's First Ban on Shark Fin
	Fins from up to 70 million sharks a year are used for shark fin soup often with the bodies of the animal dumped overboard dead or alive.
