Hang Loose Santa Catarina Pro Runs Oct.30 - Nov.7

The Hang Loose Santa Catarina Pro, which will run from October 30 to November 7, will be the second to the last stop of the 2007 Foster’s ASP World Tour. It will be the deciding point for the final winners of ASP World Champion - and if Mick Fanning (AUS) stays at the lead next week in Brazil.
If Fanning wins in the Hang Loose Santa Catarina Pro, he will get his maiden ASP World Title and head to the Hawaiian leg of competition the 2007 Foster’s ASP World Champion.
However, World No. 2 Taj Burrow (AUS) and 8X World Champion Kelly Slater (USA) are the only contenders Fanning will be facing for the title should he failed to win in Brazil.
Fanning will become one of the few World Champions who have led the entire the season if he wins the title and stays in the lead.
