Stephanie Gilmore Wins at Day 1 of Roxy Pro

Reigning ASP Women’s World Champion Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) won in the Round 1 of the Roxy Pro Gold Coast presented by LG.
Gilmore, who felt good in her comeback, made an impressive 15.84 out of a possible 20. She defeated last year’s event runner-up Carissa Moore (HAW) and her friend Karina Petroni (USA).
Meanwhile, Amee Donohoe (AUS) was another surfer who made a good performance on the first round with a solid 15.67 out of a possible 20 in her clash with Serena Brooke (AUS) and Rebecca Woods (AUS).
