Surfboard Hire Concept at Gold Coast Surfboards

November 6, 2007 was a historic day for surfers, as it marked the day that British Airways banned surfboards from all flights due to their "large size and handling complexities". Since then, many other airlines have taken similar action, banning boards over certain sizes, or making the cost of including them as luggage prohibitive.
